Inflatable Bounce Rental Agreement

1. DELIVERY: To the street address specified by Lessee (Customer). Lessee grants Lessor right to enter the property at the said
street address (“Delivery Address”) for the delivery and subsequent pick up of the BOUNCE unit at the specified time.

2. TRANSPORTATION EXPENSE: Except as provided herein, all charges in delivering and subsequent pick up of the BOUNCE unit with respect, of the Delivery Address is included in the Rental Fee. In the event that BOUNCE unit is not returned at the appointed time by Lessee a $50.00 Transportation Fee shall be automatically imposed.

3. GENERAL RULES TO FOLLOW DURING USE OF THE BOUNCE UNIT.

a. Only compatible age groups and size shall play on the BOUNCE unit at the same time. The maximum number of rides of each group that should play in BOUNCE unit are: 13×13 unit: age under 8: 8-10, age 8 to 12: 4-6, Older teens: 3-4, Adults: 3. 15×15 unit: age under 8: 10-12, age 8 to 12:7-9, Older teens: 4-6, Adults: 4.

b. All Riders MUST REMOVE SHOES before playing in the BOUNCE unit.

c. To avoid neck and back injuries, FLIPS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

d. CHILDREN’S SAFETY DEPENDS UPON YOU. YOUR PERSONAL SUPERVISION IS ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED. AS THE LESSEE OF THE BOUNCE UNIT, THE SAFETY OF ALL RIDERS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

e. Absolutely no “Silly String”, gum, candy, food or other sticky substances are allowed in the BOUNCE unit. If upon pick up, such cleaning is required then a $50.00 cleaning fee shall be automatically imposed.

f. DO NOT MOVE the BOUNCE unit from the place where it was installed. If the BOUNCE unit moves, pull the corner back to its original location of installation.

CAUTION: Keep the BOUNCE unit away from swimming pools.

4. SPECIAL INSTRUCTION: The BOUNCE unit’s equipment is reliable. Should the BOUNCE unit begin to deflate:

(1) the motor may have stopped, in which case, check the cord connection at the outlet near the motor, and remember to keep only the 100 foot extension cord on the outlet (stronger outlets are in the kitchen and laundry room). (2) If the motor is continuing to run, check the air intake on the side of the motor for blockage, and check both tubes at the back of the BOUNCE unit for snugness; retie if necessary.

(3) If you cannot detect the problem, please call our emergency number.

5. SAFE OPERATION ACKNOWLEDGMENT: LESSEE ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HE/SHE HAS BEEN INSTRUCTED ABOUT AND FULLY UNDERSTANDS THE SAFE OPERATION OF THE BOUNCE UNIT THAT IS THE SUBJECT OF THIS RENTAL AGREEMENT. LESSEE AGREES TO OBSERVE ALL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS. LESSEE ALSO REPRESENTS AND WARRANTS THE SAFE RETURN OF THE UNIT AND HEREBY AGREES TO PAY FOUR THOUSAND ($4000.00) IF ITS NOT RETURNED.

6. MAINTENANCE: Lessee agrees to keep the BOUNCE unit in the same condition as when received, ordinary wear accepted.

7. ALTERATION AND ATTACHMENTS: No alteration in or attachments to the BOUNCE unit will be Made without prior written approval of lessor.

8. WARRANTY: lessor warrants that the BOUNCE unit leased under this Rental Agreement will be in good working order on the
effective date of the Rental Agreement. The BOUNCE unit is supplied and maintained subject to this warranty. Lessor’s obligation under this Rental Agreement is limited to repair or replacement of the BOUNCE unit when lessor determines that it does not conform to this warranty. That warranty is in lieu of any, and all other warranties expressed or implied, and of any and all obligations and of all liabilities on the part of lessor for damages, including, but not limited to, consequential damages, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the BOUNCE unit.

9. TITLE TO BOUNCE: lessee agrees to keep the BOUNCE unit in his/her custody and not to sublease, rent, sell, remove from the delivery address, or otherwise transfer such BOUNCE unit. The BOUNCE unit will remain the property of the lessor and may be removed by lessor at any time after the termination of The Rental Agreement.

10.RELEASE OF LABILITY: The lessee shall be in charge of the BOUNCE unit’s operation and is fully responsible for its operation
as well as return of the BOUNCE unit in good working order. Lessor and its officers, Employees and agents is/are not responsible for injury occurring to the lessee or to any other persons using the BOUNCE unit, and the lessee further agrees to hold the lessor and its officers, employees and agents free and Harmless against any injury or claims. The lessee shall indemnify the lessor and its officers, employees and agents From/against any costs incurred due to claims from anyone and for attorney’s fees and related costs involving the use and return of the BOUNCE unit, should legal action become necessary.

11.ENTIRE AGREEMENT: the Rental Agreement constitutes the full agreement between lessor and lessee. Time is of the essence in the Rental Agreement. The receipt of the BOUNCE unit that is the subject of this Rental Agreement is in good working order.

12.RAIN POLICY: DURING PERIOD OF SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS (I.E. RAIN, HIGH WIND, ETC.) WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL YOUR RESERVATIONS, IF CONDITIONS ARE NOT TOO SEVERE, WE WILL GIVE YOU THE OPTION OF KEEPING IT OR NOT. IF LESSEE DECIDES TO KEEP THE UNIT FOR THE TERM OF THIS RENTAL AGREEMENT, THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS!

Safety Contract for Rental of Inflatable Units:

The following rules detail safe operational guidelines for the inflatable equipment you are renting from Pike Road Inflatables. To ensure safe operation of the inflatable, it is in your best interests to read or have these rules read aloud by a company
representative. Further, you are encouraged to direct any questions you may have about the operation of the inflatable to your representative from Pike Road Inflatables before you begin use of the equipment.

Supervision: The safety of the children depends on you. Your personal supervision is absolutely required at all times. As the lessee of this inflatable unit, the safety of all the riders is your responsibility. As the adult supervisor, you should position yourself in close proximity of the entrance to the ride and be prepared to assist riders when they enter/exit the ride.

Ø Over Age 12   5 – 7


Silly String: Canned spray strings in any form are strictly prohibited in or around the inflatable unit at any time. It is understood that the rental customer will abide by these rules at all times.

Shoes/Glasses/Jewelry: All riders MUST REMOVE SHOES, GLASSES, AND ALL LOOSE JEWELRY before playing in the inflatable.

Pre-existing Health Conditions: Pregnant women, individuals with preexisting injuries, and others susceptible to injury from falls, bumps or bouncing are not permitted in or on the inflatable unit at any time. \ Inclement Weather: Once there is a threat of inclement weather, including strong winds (at or in excess of 20 mph), thunderstorms (especially when lightening is present), or severe cold weather (below 40 degrees), children should immediately exit the inflatable. The blower should thereafter be switched off and removed, and the unit
allowed to deflate.

Cancellation Due to Weather: We encourage our customer to cancel their order due to bad or severe threatening weather conditions. Inflatables of Pike Road Inflatables tries to be flexible and understanding during these times. We will work closley with our customers to determine if set up is in the best interest of all parties involved. Pike Road Inflatables will reimbuse full deposit to the customer due to these conditions if we determine cancellation prior to delivery. Upon arrival at the event location 50% of the deposit shall be retained by Pike Road Inflatables for delivery expenses. The remainder shall be refunded to the customer if at this time the event is cancelled. Once equipment is setup at customers’ request, full payment is due, However if bad weather approches Pike Road Inflatables reserves the right to advise the customer to discontinue use of the equipment or deflate inflatables. Use of the equipment may resume with favorable weather conditions. Customers shall not be reimbursed any money after equipment is set up.

Deflation: Never allow riders in or on a partially inflated unit. Should the unit begin to deflate, do the following:
Have all children exit the unit immediately.

If the motor has stopped, make sure that it has not been unplugged. If the motor is still running, check the air intake on the side of the motor for blockage, and check both blower tubes on the inflatable unit to make sure that they are tightly tied off.

 
Alterations: No alteration in or attachments to the inflatable unit are allowed, period.

General Misuse:


Do not allow riders to play or climb on walls, sides or roof of inflatable. Do not allow the inflatable to rub up against any surface. Unless previously authorized by Pike Road Inflatables, never place a water hose or water in general onto the inflatable that is not designed for wet use. If the inflatable should become wet, have an adult wipe down the unit before riders return.


Negligence or Abuse: The following fees may be assessed for negligence or abuse of inflatable

Spilled food, drink or the use of Silly String could result in a $100 – $500 Cleaning Fee.

Negligence and damage to unit could result in a $400 – $1000 Repair Fee this includes ALL fees associated with the repair of the unit.
If unit is not repairable a fee of $3500 – $7000 could result.
